The Casa Varo restaurant has a beautiful, pleasant terrace on Calle Virgen de la Oliva, opposite the Iglesia del Divino Salvador.
The menu consists of traditional cuisine, and is a great place to delve into fishing for tuna: tarantello, parpatana, morrillo, etc. are prepared with great skill.
Raw dishes such as tartar and sashimi, as well as other dishes in our tradition such as marinated tuna with vegetables, dominate. Also of particular note are razor shells, urchin croquettes and sardines in tomato sauce. Of particular note in the wine menu is the recent addition of good sherries served by the glass, as well as more traditional labels. In view of the above, the best thing about Casa Varo is without doubt the immediate feeling of arriving and feeling at home.
